Western Daughter post video for ‘My Room Is A Mess’

By Ben Tipple

Western Daughter have posted the official video for ‘My Room Is A Mess’, a song about “vices and hope during hard times,” the band explained when were premiered the track back in November.

“As far as making the video went, it was a no-brainer,” vocalist Taylor Robert Hawkins tells Exclaim!, who hosted the video premiere. “The director [William Dallin Klingler] has been one of my best friends for my entire life. We grew up making short films in his parent’s basement, so this is all second nature to us. He pitched the idea while Cameron, Taylor and I were drinking on the patio of a bar in downtown Boise after our show with the Good Life earlier that night. We filmed it the next weekend.”

The track is taken from last year’s ‘As the Sun Went Down’ EP, available digitally now via Camp Daze.
