What is it with bands and their vans?!

Rufio and The Start missed their support slots with The Offspring in Glasgow last week. Here is an official statement on behalf of both bands: “The bands hired a van from Showtrans and they gave them a van that was not road worthy and refused to replace it or repair it and so the band were stuck in Stoke from 8.30am till midnight waiting for help. They were really upset to miss the show in Glasgow. The band lost their van and had to leave all their gear behind to cut their losses and take their ferry to Dublin. The Offspring helped them make it to Dublin and the bands are really grateful for the Offsprings help. We promise that Rufio will play a headline tour later this year and will be
in Glasgow soon.”
