Xtra Mile have repackaged their Single Sessions compilation into a special vinyl box-set, available as a limited release for this year’s Record Store Day. The box set, originally released as individual 7”s over four weeks in October last year, marks the label’s tenth year of operation. You can check out the full track-listing at the bottom.
In celebration of releasing the set, Xtra Mile Recordings has unleashed an incredible competition to win two tickets to as many gigs headlined by an Xtra Mile act as possible, anywhere in the world, for a year! That means entry will be guaranteed any time Frank Turner, Against Me!, To Kill A King, Jamie Lenman, Ben Marwood, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Cheap Girls, Beans On Toast and plenty of others, play a headline show. And it doesn’t matter where – New York, Berlin, Sydney, Tokyo, even Ulaan Baatar – as long as the winner can get there, they can see the artist play for free.
After purchasing the box set from an independent record shop on or after Record Store Day, the entrant just needs to snap themselves modelling the set and send it to Xtra Mile along with 50 words on why they deserve this amazing prize. The winner will receive entry for them and a companion to all Xtra Mile headline gigs worldwide, and will be eager to write about and photograph their year long journey through live music. Rules and terms & conditions are here . Fans who have already purchased the four records are eligible to enter.
