I’m gonna hold my hand up and say I’m starting to get a little bored of pop-punk. With the intense surge of UKPP bands in 2015, it’s all become a whirlpool of feels and snapbacks that fails to impress.

Then the new Hungover track came into my life and I rejoiced that pop-punk was still alive and great. Sure, it’s a little cliché – it’s about a girl – but within the first ten seconds I was hooked. Line and sinker. The chorus is bouncier than an inflatable castle and the chugging guitars and sickly sweet vocals remind me of why I fell in love with this genre in the first place. We need more bands like Hungover. We need them to keep the pop-punk scene as exciting as it has been.
