The fact that Milk Teeth have premiered their new track with Line Of Best Fit says a lot, straight off the bat. ‘Vile Child’, their imminent debut full-length, is not only set to blow them skywards, but outwards too. A whole new world awaits. Forged in the alternative, they now find themselves sharing pages with A$AP Rocky and Father John Misty, just two of the record listed in Line Of Best Fit’s 50 albums of the year.

There’s a clear juxtaposition too, even clearer than the one above. ‘Kabuki’ is intimate, beautiful and sobering. It’s just Becky Blomfield and a guitar. Nothing like the intense noise that the full band have honed to near-perfection on stage. It’s unexpected to say the least, but it sets Milk Teeth up as more than they have ever hinted at. This lot should be bigger than huge, and they are going the right way about it.
