It may mark the end of our summer festival season, but what a way to go! This year’s Reading Festival lived up to all expectations, offering enough live music, frivolity and neon face-paint to keep any punter happy. Headlined, of course, by Queens of the Stone Age (alongside co-headliner Paramore), Arctic Monkeys and blink-182, the line-up once again catered to a broad taste. There were some extra-special moments too, not least Jimmy Eat World playing their seminal ‘Futures’ in full on the Lock Up Stage, or Die Antwoord delivering what might have been the weirdest live show any of the 80000 festival goers had seen to date.
Here at Punktastic we have a load of coverage on the way, including an extensive live review, more than twenty interviews and photo galleries from across the day. To make it easy, we’re consolidating all our coverage here as it emerges, so keep an eye over the next few weeks for more from Reading Festival.
