Fairview’s video for ‘Warmth’ is for the hopeless romantics

By Ben Tipple

“‘Warmth’ is a song of confusion,” Bristol four-piece Fairview explain. “Sometimes in life you can long for somebody so badly and think you need them in your life, but then push them away anyway. This is one for the hopeless romantics.”

Their blend of ethereal melodies and a heavier grunge tone provide a musical presence to that confusion, veiled under the superficial warmth expressed in the song’s title. Two sides of the same coin, ‘Warmth’ is both unsettling and comforting.

Fairview have enjoyed playing alongside the likes of Milk Teeth, Allusondrugs, JAWS and Hindsights, having released their ‘Moonlight’ EP in June 2015. ‘Warmth’ will officially be released on the 3rd March 2016.

The band will be playing a number of live shows towards the end of March. Check out Fairview on Facebook.
