First look at Sittingthesummerout’s latest video ‘To Those Concerned’

By Mark Johnson

We’re excited to be premiering Sittingthesummerout’s latest video for ‘To Those Concerned’. The track is taken from the band’s upcoming EP ‘Brick and Mortar’, due out on December 1 via Ghost Factory Records & Arts.

“To Those Concerned is a song about friendship,” the band explain. “It’s a song about worrying where you’re going with your life, and what those friends you hold dearest are doing with theirs – wondering what the roads you all take will do to your relationships – because everybody seems to drift apart eventually. It’s a thought I often struggle with, one of those thoughts that keeps me in my bed in the morning when even coffee, my saviour most days, won’t do the trick.”

“Our good friend Edoardo Giacomelli from Absence Films helped us out on this one and worked on it along with Samir. It features five players in a poker game where pawns are being staked alongside regular poker chips. When friendships and groups of friends fall apart, dirty tricks are played sometimes and some people end up winning, while others, overconfident, choose to stake everything they’ve built and lose it all instead.”
