Hailing from Bedfordshire, five piece Young Kings aren’t delivering the typical melodic hardcore sound. Perhaps the old days hinted at in their album title, the band are looking for a little more from the genre, the type of diversity that has elevated contemporaries Crooks above the pack.
“We have been through a lot over the last 12 months and this album marks the start of a new beginning,” the band explain. “As the title track suggests, We don’t talk about the Old Days anymore.”
As part of the move to push melodic hardcore into the unknown, Young Kings are well and truly looking to the future.
‘Old Days’ will be self-release on Friday 13th November, with the band joining With Ghosts on tour from then until the 21st. Live dates and pre-orders are available via the band’s website.
