Having released their debut EP, ‘Pines’, towards the end of 2014, this year is looking promising for currently unsigned Exeter based trio Black Foxxes. Led by frontman Mark Holley’s hauntingly powerful vocals, the band provide a unique view on expansive, atmospheric soundscapes.
Black Foxxes took their mesmerising live performance to the studio for a BBC Introducing session in Devon. The result is the explosive ‘Slow James Forever’, available to view exclusively below. It forms part of a series of sessions recorded by BBC Introducing – more of which are still to come.
“It’s a track we’ve been playing for a while now live and wanted to get it out there,” Holley explains. “In the meantime all we’re doing is writing. We have brand new material that we cant wait to knuckle down and record when the time is right.”
The performance demonstrates further why Black Foxxes are one of our huge tips for 2015.
